Lunes, 5 March, we said goodbye to Ed and Michelle and struck off on our own to Zacatecas. Leaving San Miguel, the terrain appeared to be mostly ranch land. Many others of the devil and reptiles were too grotesque to look at. Somehow, I expected masks like those worn by the dancers in San Miguel de Allende.

Good choice. The place was nearly full at 3:00 p.m. Ray had enchiladas Zacatecans.
