On The Way To MazatlanOn The Way To MazatlanOn The Way To Mazatlan

You never know when a smile and a little trust will give happiness and affect another's life ....
Sometimes It just works out .... On the road to Mazatlan, MX (MZT) ....

Flew out of Spokane before sunrise ... cold, windy and miserable ... so glad to get out of that ... headed out for a few days to relax by the warm Pacific ... In LAX every flight into Mexico is wide open except to Mazatlan (MZT) which is overbooked for the week … dreaded sleeping in the LA airport with little chance of even getting out the next day... my mind raced for an alternative ... so I decided to hop on the flight to Puerto Vallarta (PVR) and ride a bus back 8 hours to Mazatlan ...

At the counter standing in front of me is this beautiful Non-Rev (airline staff flying standby as I do) that has just been pulled off the flight to make room for some paying customer … I’m standing right behind her but just back enough not to get arrested …… she hangs around the counter and overhears what I plan to do … as I walk over and have a seat to wait for the PVR flight, she walks up … blond, long legs, amazing butt, 5-8, 5-10

in heels … so she sez why don’t we hang out and do the bus thing together … she doesn’t think she wants to do it alone … she is incredible … been all over the world … talked about how much she loved Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, partying in Berlin and dropping into Seattle to dance all night ... Going to PVR for a family get together …. AND meeting her boyfriend … an Air Canada Flight Attendant….

Got to PVR … surprisingly there was a bus leaving for MZT at 2245 ... No way! Normally, I would have had the luck that the bus would leave the next day in the late afternoon ... didn't have enough pesos on hand for the MZT bus ticket, so she pays the rest ... again, no way ... went downtown for dinner b4 the overnight bus left for MZT … walked in the warm ocean breeze checking menus until we found a place we liked ... one of the waiters asked if she was a movie star …. I, of course, said yes and told him “no foto” ... “prohibito por favor” … played it to the hilt

... I LOVED IT … I know I was just handy but it was a thrill to walk around town with her … Cheesy? ... Yup! ... But still it made a potentially miserable night a fantasy … Sometimes It just works out ... Sometimes It just works out
