Ian rents another scooter which makes us more mobile. We head downtown to find a place for me to get a haircut. My haircut costs $50 pesos or $4.15 USD. This really makes me think about how much I pay at home. Hairdressers here do not expect tips either.

Some friends who we met a few weeks ago, that live here, had recommended that we try Le Chef restaurant, so we stop in for lunch. Ian has a bacon lobster sandwich (lobster, bacon, cheese, mayo, pesto and avacado) which is out of this world. I apologize that my photo of it didn't turn out. I have a smoked salmon baguette (smoked salmon, cheese, mayo, pickles, black olives, lettuce and tomato) which is equally delicious. Lunch comes with a starter of brushetta and a nice green side salad. By far this is the best and most decadent lunch we've had so far, although richer than what we are used to eating. It was so delicious that we both clean our plates, in hindsight, we probably should have split one of these. Needless to say we are both a little over stuffed. After picking up a few groceries we head back to the pool.

We are enjoying hanging around with Jodie, Elton and their six very well behaved kids between 18 months and 12 years, who are now staying here in our condo complex in a 3 bedroom. Jodie is the daughter of our neighbors from Balfour, Gerry & Betty, who recommended this place to us, and the main reason we are here.

We do a bit more scootering around, Ian takes me on some new streets further away, we stop by El Billy to pick up some smoked beef but we find it is closed on Mondays so we settle for some chicken instead.

There was some overnight rain and hail which cleared up by the time we got up. Weather continues to be superb, about 28 C with a few clouds and breeze. It's a fantastic sunset today. We still have 24 days to go. Ian and I are both very tanned and becoming very plump!
