We loved the woodwork on this house.

The pounding surf. Wonderful music to sleep to. These are the roughest waves and loudest surf we’ve seen yet.
Shrimp boats. Catch those camarones, por favor.
Raymond y Marsia with Tia Juana (Jan) from Dorango,Co.
Denis and Renee from Quebec, traveling in a truck camper like ours with a beautiful wolf looking dog gave us many tips on places to visit along Mexico’s south coast.

This is the beach area where the RVers dumped their sewage tanks into the sand. It is guarded by two security guards. They seemed to want to allow us to stay but said it was prohibito.
Far right of the beach. The water temperature is said to be about 80 degrees.
He’s out there again bright and early and anxious for us to leave so he can rake our spot.
Sunset at Chacala. Being January, we do not often get to see the sunset into the ocean. Nice of those folks to park their sailboat here for our photo op.
Raymondo and Marsia at Quezada restaurant.
Perfectly groomed sand parking lot.
La cocina at adjacent restaurant also owned by our landlord.
As you can see a chain link fence separates the former parking area from the beach. It is now off limits to Mexican tent campers too not that they would want to pitch a tent and let their kids play over a cess pool.
The bay in front of the village of Chacala.

Marsia with Rudy who interpreted for us and arranged for us to stay in front of his boss’s restaurant.
We thot their ride was pretty cute.
Pretty upscale for a funky little beach town.
I just love the pretty fruit stands.

Mex 200 along the coast. In addition to the pretty road, there are many orchards and crops.
