What type of music comes from Mexico?

Mexico is very well known for its Mariachi style music, most likely because Mexico is were Mariachi music originally originated from. Moreover, Mariachi music is said to have been first formed somewhere in the 19th century around the 1920's, although it is not completely sure if accurate or not. Since Mariachi music is considered folk music, it is only right that Mexicans should be well known for it, although it is said, that the Spanish caused the beginnings, when they brought commonly used instruments to Mexico. As a result, Mariachi music usually consists of Violins, guitars, basses, trumpets, percussion, and a few other instruments.

Since Mariachi music is considered "folk music" to its originators, it is only expected for Mexicans to be commonly referred to when mentioning Mariachi music. Although it is already mentioned that Mariachi music came to existence in the paragraph above, it isn't mentioned where. Furthermore, Mariachi music is said to have been started in a southern part of Mexico, known as Jalisco. Mariachi music is performed by a group of musicians who wear "Charro suits", which are usually colorful and have many different designs on them. As a result, mariachi is a common form of music played all around the world, but more commonly in Mexico, and now the US. In conclusion, an important part of Mexican culture would be its Marriachi music, mainly because it is the founder of it and has much meaning and importance.
