Last Day from PV

---

One last time from P. Vallarta. We are packing and readying ourselves emotionally for departure from this lovely part of earth. No tears though. We miss our families and friends. We have many, many happy memories from our 10 days here. We have made many friends, from Beni and Miquel at the bar, to Virginia at the Cafe, to Omar at the main desk. We have also made friends from amongst the people staying here. We will always remember the outstanding service here at Casa Velas. I only hope that one day we can come back here and enjoy the food, drink, fellowship and the people who take care of us here. They are some of the most extraordinary people I have ever met. They always go the extra mile. Anyhow, here is a list, in no certain order, of some of the other highlights:
1) Ruben the wedding guy and our wedding on the beach
2) La Carmalitas - straight up a "logging road" to a wonderful cafe at night overlooking the city. Had to get out and push the taxi twice to get him going as he kept trying to shift when he shouldn't have.
3) Walking in the city with Dorothy and teaching her how to "negotiate" with the vendors
4) The "romantic dinner" on the beach at the Beach Club. Hard to explain
5) The dinner last night at the Italian Rest. - food so good
6) Hanging out at the pool and the bar and meeting other couples who were honeymooning.
7) Champagne at Kathi and Buster's little pool. Thanks to Janet and Kris
8) The Botanical Gardens especially the bus trip back into town. Yummy smells and good brakes?
9) The Yankees losing out and the Red Sox winning
