Saturday, June 9, 2012 we were back in DF. Terri, our roommate since December, was in the final stages of packing as she was moving to another place nearby. There was stuff everywhere, so we decided to leave for dinner out. The next day Terri had the movers in and was able to complete her transition by early afternoon. Very pretty, however, not a clean lake like we're used to in Canada. Sitting on the malecon/ public walkway.

This statue should be surrounded by water but the water level was so low that we walked to it.

Breakfast by the pool at the hotel Hospedaje del Rey, or The King's Lodge. The restaurant was across the street. It was quaint and had great coffee and food.

We had the pool more or less to ourselves midweek in Colima. The temperature was 35 outside and perfect in the pool!

We found the temperatures in Colima to be 5 or 6 degrees warmer than Guadalajara, and 7-8 degrees warmer than DF. Fans work better than AC.

Welcome Back!
I can see why you will miss your Mexican home!! What are your next plans????? We are in Jamaica in Nov. for a wedding and an extra few week after. End of December we are heading for Costa Rica for 6 weeks and Belize for 2 weeks. Home the end of Feb.

Hi! Enjoyed your blog, better because we have visited Mexico City with you and met Rosa and Terri. It is sad to say goodbye, yet always awesome to know that you can go back and visit such terrific friends!
