We tried to look for a market but didn´t find any. We ended up eating in a nice restaurant. Our first Mexican food was just great.
After that we took a metro to Zocalo. On the metro in Mexico City, you will get all kind of entertainments. First station that we got on, there was a woman shouting very loud. She was trying to sell pens!!! The next station after that, there was a man with radio and speakers. He turned the radio and speakers on(very loud). He was trying to sell CDs!!! It kept going on juts like that.
Zocalo was kind of closed because they were about to have a big Salsa night and they were building a huge stage. Then we went to into the Cathedal next to Zocalo and we realized that people here are real believers! After that we walked into a walking street. It was interesting to see. We had our first Michilada: beer with salt and lemon:-) interesting!!!

Oktoberfest!!!!!! We got up and very excited. Daian, Robert and I took a bus to Oktoberfest in Mexico City!!!! It took us about one hour to get there. The Oktoberfest was organized by Club Aleman in Mexico. When we got there, was crazy; too many cars and people!!! we walked through the
entace and were greeted by a German sausage( a guy in a German sausage suite) but it looked more like a penis I have to say.-)
We went inside. Theer was a huge tent full of peple and a band on a stage!!! All I kept saying was ¨Is it really happening to me???¨ It was just unbelievable. We just flew from Austria a week ago and suddenly we are in Oktoberfest!!!
There people walking around with Lederhose and Diendl!!!! How weird is that!!! They even managed to have a Tracht(traditional custume) compettion!!!
We wanted to have a German beer but the line to get the German beer was too long, too long to wait so we decided to get a Mexican beer which I prefered:-)
We bought 3 litter of beer so got a beer T-shirt for free!!! Then we went see people from Couchsurfing. There were more than 40 of them, drinking and having fun!!! We joined them.
We were sitting just right next to the satge. The musuic was good and they also sang ¨ein Prosit¨. It was great fun. It was like Mexican salsa music. It was interesting to see and everyboday were
dancing and they really what they were doing!!! They can dance!!!!
Late afternoon people went crazy(in a fun way). Couchsurfers were dancing like crazy. Robert and I joined them. Suddenly it turn to be a Breakdance Battle! It was great fun:-)
I was dancing with other Couchsurfers. Robert was standing and taking with poeple(as always). As I was standing there a lone(without my husnabd), I ended up with dancing with many guys:-) That the way it is in Mexico. Guys try hard to get girls:-)
At around 8 p.m. the crazy Oktoberfest is over. We took a bus home. The traffic went crazy(again) because it was a football math. So football fans were every. A group of football fan got on a bus with all kinds of noise!!! At first it was fun to see and hear but after 5 minutes it became annoying!!! We got home tired and went to sleep.
