another reason mexico city's subway system is awesome is because inside many stations there is art, science, history and more to look at if you aren't in a hurry.

we had a really tough time getting vegetarian tacos in mexico. people would look at us like we were crazy if we asked for them without meat and sometimes outright refuse to make them with just beans. so this place was a little piece of heaven.
