Today the fags, flags, glitter, hot pants and crazy costumes came out, for Mexico cities annual pride parade.
After meeting up with a bunch of friends, we adorned our pink velour outfit with rainbow headbands and set off to watch the parade..... and deflower my pride virginity.
The streets were crowded with all types of crazy looking people in various get ups and ensembles, in some places you couldnt even move. The costumes were amazing, with a lot of effort and time put into them, where others (mine and Liz's) had five mins thought and 10 mins shopping time put into it.
The march went on for approx 2-3 hours, having numerous floats, with scantily clad men and women prancing around to dance music that you would only ever like if you were high on ecstasy.
But this is what makes the pride parade what it is, and made for a great day, with great company and a little bit of robot dancing thrown in the mix.
