Agua Clara

Well we arrived in Pelenque yesterday evening, but we spent about a whole 5 minutes at the bus station there. As it turned out we headed out of town to this jungle area where there are cheap cabanas and food. Found a little hut thing with three beds for 50 pesos a night, works out great because I have a snore zone downstairs and Jord/Ry have the upstairs.

Jord lost his sleeping bag cover, hes down two items already, I dont know why Im bringing this up but Im hoping people will laugh at him because I did already. At least his pack is getting lighter. Ryan shaved his moustache as well, really dissapointing. So were sitting on our little patio last night when Mike the English guy strolls up, said he knew hed find us in the jungle and consequently he did... he left awhile before us so that was a coincidence. Then Angus the Irishmen showed up after making the same trip but hitchiking, so that was cool.

Went to Agua Clara which is about 45 mins away from where we stay and saw some awesome rivers and waterfalls. Beautiful blue water, freaky suspension bridges and finally the awesome waterfall that they filmed Predator at... Where Arny falls off into the water running from the Predator after Billy dies. We wanted to act out the movie, Jord being Arny, me being the Predator, Ryan being Billy, Mike being the spanish chick we rescue but there was no mud so everything went to hell. Also the places were all different, they must have cut to a different river to see him swimming, ohwell. Oh yeah the Australian guy was going to be the weird translater as well but it doesnt matter anymore.

We left the last waterfall and I made an amazing shot at this bee nest, no idea how I hit it but all of the sudden I was running for my life, we also found some cool trees to jump off into the river when the auzzy was rocked trying to do a double back flip.

Had a pizza dinner and were going to see the girls do the flame show. Tomorow we check out the ruins.

Waterfall
This is the waterfall that Arny jumped off in Predator, or so we are told... Awesome swimming hole regardless!

This was an awesome greenish blue river we went to, great for swimming and not too bad a current, really was nice to swim in fresh water.
