This is the week of March 12th. Finally the wind has stopped and the weather is warming up. We have been in snorkeling and looking for pen scallops. We were successful. We had a nice dinner for six with the findings. Bacon wrapped scallops. Yum Yum!!

We have decided to leave the boat in Puerto Escondido while we are in Canada. We hope to come back down in September for hurricane season.

There was mayday yesterday on the VHF radio. A man had a cardiac arrest on a sailboat out by Carmen Island. The people in the harbour rallied around and found a mooring for her and we had a vigil on the boat of some 12 hours with body before a van from a funeral home came for the body.
