Roadside shrine. Roadside shrine.
Roadside shrine.

There are lots of little shrines and crosses along the road, presumably for road deaths. Also lots of beautiful little outdoor chapels in each town.

You can just see its head poking out. I was a bit gutted as my tele lens was locked in the bus in my backpack.

He´s wearing his ´slugs´t-shirt that the homeless guy he hitch-hiked to San Francisco with bought him. It´s the same t-shirt Vincent Vega has to put on after he gets hosed down by The Wolf in Pulp Fiction. No wonder people think we´re Americano and Americans say things like ´go those slugs!´ to him!

That is a pretty bad bathroom experience, I'd have to agree, but it was the biggest laugh I've had this week!! Also, it's too funny that you've seen Sesame Street in Dutch...that must have been worth a chuckle or two. I'm a little behind on reading your blogs but am definitely enjoying them. Keep it up and stay safe guys. Mark
