While Iceland was definitely lacking the 'ice', Greenland did it's bit to make up for it. Within minutes of hitting the coastline we could see a sea of shattered icebergs and a land of snow and glaciers below us. The tundra landscape was broken up by great interconnected lakes filled over summer by the melting ice and snow.

Believe it or not, maggi noodles made a nice break from the staple diet of crackers, cheese and chorizo of our camp lunches.

Narwhal whale skin served raw. This ridiculously chewy flesh has a super high source of vitamin C - if you can keep chewing on it long enough!
