Hi all,
Tomorrow we leave on our trip to south America. We are almost packed. Three months living out of a backpack is not easy, my pack weighs in at almost 50lbs. Any suggestions of must have items to take? I know many of you are travellers, so what something you took that you could not do without. This is also a test of the blog, let us know if you are having problems.

1. everyday will be a different kind of awesome! and 2. don't worry - you'll to ditch "stuff" from the backpack along the way! (My tip: in Aguas Calientes rent your towel from the last kiosk on the right just before the hotsprings. Just sayin'. lol)
