Greetings from Canada!

Let me back up a bit....We left Greentown, Indiana Monday morning and drove to Cleveland. We spent about three hours at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum. We really enjoyed it, but were somehow expecting more. In talking to our waitress at dinner that night, it sounds as if that's a widely held opinion in the city. I especially enjoyed the Bruce Springsteen exhibit. The building itself is very cool......there was a downpour while we were in there, and we could see it out of those huge glass windows. It was also raining hard when we drove through Cleveland Tuesday morning, making it slow going until we got through it. We got here mid-afternoon, and had time to walk down to the falls, and then, after dinner, go back to see how they looked in colored lights. There is no way pictures can prepare you for the sight and sound of the falls......the roar is a background to everything here. This morning we went on the Maid of the Mist, which goes right to the base of the falls. Then this afternoon Tom went down the Incline Railway to get better access to Horsehoe Falls for pictures and even short videos. Did you know that four out of five of the Great Lakes empty into the falls via the Niagra River? All I know is that you'd never get me on that river! On to Montreal tomorrow. Later, Tom & Nancy

ps: that cute little guy in the pics on our last blog is our grand-nephew Zander; he belongs to Angie, Michelle's daughter, and her husband Jim.
