Looking for a person to backpack most of south america!

Want to go and help out in South america till i understand Spanish better, then backpack the coast, well eating fish and natural foods. Then hoping to get on with a fishing charter and help out, thus earning money and making a life for my self there. Any one have ideas, or food or any info they could help with??
