Summer in Saskatchewan is always so beautiful and such a special place to be! We enjoyed our family, went camping, and attended the Blanchette family union in Meota at the end of July. We were able secure an extended family camping site at Meota Regional Park. About 15 people camped with us in our designated site. Tyler is a Heeler

The heeler catches the back 2 legs of the steer or calf.

At Riverdale Pool

A beautiful afternoon at the pool with family and friends. Tai makes Dad and Mom play in the water.

Maurice's Tractor and Trailer

Hauling soil from 51st Street to 71st Street. The box goes up at least 3 stories.

Overturned Tractor

Lining up to unload is very important. If the truck in not level it will tip ....like this. Both truck and trailer were totaled! It happened just as Maurice was pulling up to dump his load.

Repairs on the Trailer

Maurice is able to do repairs to the trailer right in our driveway.

Linda Drives a School Bus

A 72 passenger, flat nose school bus is easy to drive!

At Waskesiu

One of the bus trips took me to the bog by Waskesiu. Maurice came along.

A Visit With Byron

Byron lives inn Red Deer, Alberta. Linda drives his grandparents up to visit with them.

October Visit

Gracie-7, Tai-1 (almost), Sawyer-5 and Easton-3 come for a visit in October. The weather is cooler so we stay in and watch Treehouse

New Art Work For Grandma

It is always fun to see the kids new abilities. They make us new art to display.

The Last of the Leaves

Maurice gives the lawn the last mow and leaf collection for the year. The snow was falling as he finished. October 22, 2012

Snow Here for the Winter

The neighbours discuss whether the snow will stay or not. What a sloppy mess!

The Old Farm House

On the farm there is an old house that must go. Bennett is toddling so the house is being burnt. The fire is started inside.

15 Minutes Later

The wood is dry and ignites well. The smoke billows!

45 Minutes Later

The house is burning well and within an hour it is down and smoldering in the cellar area. November is a good time to burn an old house.
