Day 8

It's our last day here and we have been exploring more of the city before we leave and walking on streets we may not have been on before. Today we went to the Museum of Civilization, close to our hotel. It's a very nice museum and very kid friendly. There are exhibits on ancient Egypt as well as the history of animation, the early people of Quebec, and exhibit of early horse carriages, and an exhibit for kids and adults alike to see how tornadoes are formed, a both where you can feel the difference between intensities of an earthquake, and much more.

We found our way to the Farmer's Market which is located in a large indoor facility with so many delicious selections of cheeses, fresh fruits, juices, marmalades, and many options for sampling anything and everything made from maple. I bought a jar of apple butter after sampling it. It was delicious and different from the American version. It's not brown since it's made from white sugar as opposed to brown sugar and has an "fresh apply" taste.

I think we planned this well. Being here less than 4 days would have felt like
First things firstFirst things firstFirst things first

A multigrain croissant… because I'm healthy! ;)
we were cheated of our time here. I'm sure there is more to explore, but 4 days has given us a good sense of the city and it's culture. Tomorrow we head down to Montreal, a city that we also love.
