Day Two

Left Watertown,NY at 10AM and arrived at the Canadian border around 10:30. Drove past the 1000 island region and very pretty. Would like to come back and spend more time. Arrived in Quebec around noon and plenty of crazy drivers and saw quite a few accidents. Arrived at our hotel outside Quebec City around 4 and had a nice dinner at the Auberge La Camarine (sounds pretty fancy but we sat outside on a deck). Feels pretty strange with all signs in French, but enough people speak English for us to get by. Alot less humid up here but the locals are complaining of the hot weather. There's a firework display a mile up the road at 10PM and we have an excellent view from our hotel window. Alot of people on the road heading to the fireworks.
