So i have been in Montréal for a few days now. When i arrived i thought i was gona freeze to death, it was seriously cold.. Luckily for me, that was as cold as it gets, its about 2-6 degrees right now which is fine by me. So far i've been walking around town alot, been to the cathedral, parks, walked over 50km and had a great time!
The cathedral was beautiful and i walked aroind quietly in awe of the building. i lit a candle for my grandma and then continued my walk through tje cathedral. After that i went to one of the many parks, and to my astonishment, i saw about a dozen squirls, hopping around looking for food. it was the cutest sight ever 😊 Lets see for food..
Yesterday i ate a pizza, curious to how they would be around here. i couldnt even finish half of it while i normall eat a whole one..
Today my dinner was healthier, i went for noodlesoup, it was stuffed with baby mais, scallops, crab, squid and all kinds of seafood. But jesus it was hot. he had warned me but i was stubborn as usual 😊 i finished
the whole bowl but my nose was running like mad at first ..
Alright! Thats it for now again, tomorrow i will visit the biodome and possibly the botanical garden..
Btw Montreal smells curious..i just had to mention that, sometimes it smells vaguely of sewers, or in the metrostation like..mold or something, and in the parks it smells just fine. also starbucks is dirt cheap here and that makes me happy!
next time ill probably be in toronto or atleast another city, so be prepared for a long blog post!

Leuk hoor, om als ik om 7.30 uur 's ochtends je blog lees gelijk met tranen in mijn ogen te zitten omdat je zo vreselijk lief een kaarsje heb gebrand voor haar. Ik heb me nooit gerealiseerd, maar ben er wel blij om, dat ik als "ongelovige', maar wel katholiek opgevoed iemand dit gebruik toch aan je heb overgedragen. Het is maar goed dat ik je smaakpapillen de laatste 8 maanden een beetje heb getraind in het eten van pepers! Anders was je na je noodlesoepje waarschijnlijk met blaren in de 1e hulp beland. Schrijf eens wat over de mensen die je ontmoet, Spriet? Hoe zijn de Canadezen? Wat voor cultuurverschillen zie je met Nederland? Hoe zijn je ontmoetingen? Waar praat je over met hen? Ja, ja, nosy mutti! Take care, lieve dochter! (zit hier ook ergens een smileybutton, btw????)
