Checking in at Lufthansa
Shelley and I checking in at the airport in Montréal.: We made the drive from Ottawa to the airport here in Pointe Claire. This is where Shelley was born!
We pre-paid for airport parking, so it was as easy as simply driving onto the assigned lot, park the car, grab our luggage, and step to the shuttle stop to board a large bus shuttle which brought us to the air terminal.
Once we arrived, we found our check in kiosk and had to wait just a little bit until they opened. We are SUPER early but that means no stress. We’re good with that. While we were waiting for them to open up the queue, we tested out our AirTags that my sister Kristine, and my Mom bought for us for the trip. They work great! We are able to see how far away the luggage is, track it down, play a sound….very handy indeed.
Security was a breeze. Because we were so early, we were able to get through quickly and efficiently. We had to go through one of the scanners that you stand inside and lift your hands over your head as if you’re being robbed (maybe there’s something to that what with the
Board
Here’s our flight!! price of tickets and all…..).
14:15 hrs : We are now sitting comfortably at one of the restaurants in the ‘duty free’ area of the airport, waiting to eat some lunch.
Shelley had chipped one of her nails somehow, and now she’s over at the salon across the way getting it attended to. I’m downing another beer because….well…..beer. ‘Nuff said.
