Nothing in Toronto is much more than 100 years old which makes it only 40 years older than us - very new, very cosmopolitan and very expensive with a pint of lager at £8.60!
Niagara Falls are an awesome sight but strangely surrounded by a Las Vegas type collection of hotels,motels, designer and tacky shops and casinos. We are learning the lingo - sidewalk, garbage, Tim Hortons and LCBO and drinking the wine of Ontario. The guy in the Apple store called us the Golden Girls and thought Eileen was Meryl Streep here are Meryl and the GGs!

Oh now Meryl and the Golden Girls makes sense!
Note to self: read entries in correct order or it will get very confusing! £8.60 for a pint of lager is criminal! Can get a glass of champers for that surely!? S x
