Returno to Toronto.

Yes, I’d like to do that again someday. It’s a very pleasant, fun and interesting city to stay at. It’s large within many attractions to explore and not get bored, has a tall beautiful skyline that can take your breath away, viewed from many different angles. It has many different ethnic neighborhoods for variety, and has a very safe small town feel to it.

It’s Chinatown is huge, and nearby are also various ethnic shops and business like a Little Portugal. All over sprinkled through the city are East Indian and West Indies Restaurants, which is a novelty for me even though I come from a racially diverse part of the country. Century old architecture still survives among the mostly modern buildings such as the heavily British influenced Legislature Building, Casa Loma and Spadina Mansion/Museum.

Also visited Black Creek Pioneer Village which houses older buildings which were moved on to the site and have period costumed guides working or demonstrating crafts.

Yonge St. is lively with many small shops and restaurants and stretches for miles enabling you to keep entertained and get your exercise at the same time. It almost like an elongated Time Square. At night many sidewalk artists ply their trade as well as street entertainers.
