Airports and All That Jazz

So after a whirlwind trip to London that involved quality time with Mom and then quality time with tequila we arrived at Pearson airport only to find LAN's check in counter closed. Hungover and hazy it took us about 45 minutes to figure out that we needed to check in at American Airlines. For the record I mentioned that I was pretty sure we had to check in at Air Canada, that should count for something.
Now we are sitting at the bar, Newport and I are trying to drink our fear of flying away and Woof is just drinking. We're waiting to see what flight we are getting on. They oversold the flight and asked for volunteers to take a later one. After hearing that the later flight has 1 less connection and they are throwing in a $300 American Airline voucher we were pretty much in. So here we wait and here we drink.
Okay, a few drinks later and we are waiting to board our original flight. Too bad. We had big plans for that $300.
