Mmmmm mummy!
Good way to start off the blog eh! Short version of events thus far since last entry: Wheelchairs, rickshaws, jagermeister, drunkeness, missing trains, missing shoes, baby attacks, sophisticated electronic thingamajigs, crazy insane homeless people, singing tunes really loud at bars when the music is *not* playing, shady individuals, hangovers, booze, minimal sleep, pancake breakfasts, "whoooooosh!", dragging an aussi up a flight of stairs to his bed while he pukes on me, university gals, potential insanity, cheap rum, injuries, tongue wreastling, ice paranoia, getting lost, 50 cent beers, meeting old friends, passing out, meat on sticks, incoming trees, bird poop, nearly dying and really really bad breath.
Not in order of course.
I'm also amazed how little money i'm spending while having so much fun! Well, that is a lie since I figure 50% of my planned budget is going towards getting myself ditzy. Seems to happen everytime I head out on backpacking trips. Must be all the evil influences on me in the form of people. Oh and girls. Yeah that must be it...
Soon i'm off to a metal show in town and dragging my horribly misguided hostel pals with me. No more hip hop crap, it's time to kill for metal and get....well more
Moi
Your friendly neighborhood yeti. drunk. Show these fools what real music is and just how crazy i can really get!
So ummm i really do not know where to start with all this. Alot has happened, and like usual at hostels, all the trouble makers and I form up. Sooooo much fun. I'm looking at you Jay, Eliza, Beth, Nils and the asian girl whose name i can never get right. She shall be called Sun. I stole that name off of Lost. We watched that one night. I'm staying right downtown in a great hostel I've been to before, have great roomies and just love pancake breakfasts ^_^
Ok...so i've toured around all of Toronto. Did all the touristy stuff like the CN tower, the Royal Museum (which was awesome), various tall buildings and trendy streets. Most of the pics will be from these well behaved trips. For the best interests of all 2 of you who read this, I shall not be putting up pictures incriminating me in buffonery. Anyways putting up pictures on here takes like forever and my internet time is running out and I'm hungry and hungover and someone is blasting some horrible music in the common
Something old from Italy i think
I wish I had the talent to make this. room and I'm cold and there are wolves after me and I think I'm rambling on.
Hmmmm I met up with Sooz one day whom I havent seen in like 5 years. Since like my 2nd year in university or so! Great seeing her again and hanging out! According to her I havent changed at all, except got more hairy.
I went snowboarding at some mountain yesterday. I suck at snowboarding and I always will. I also ran (sorta) into a tree and fucked up my left leg. It hurts to walk and I probably reawakened other old injuries that I've sustained to said leg over the years. On the bright side being injured while at a ski lodge is just like in the movies, you get kisses from girls since you are brave (stupid). Well me flirting with them had nothing to do with that either. It's all harmless fun I swear.
Bars....where to begin. 50 cent beers at some place one night, 2 doller pitches the next night somewhere else....all while hanging out with crazy aussies and brits. Bad drinking buddies if you wish to stay sober. Also bad at egging you on to talk
Samurai armour!
I totally want to be seen wearing this around town. to cute univeristy of toronto girls. Hahahahaha....oi. Oh yeah I do not recommend getting puked on, it is totally not cool and you smell like barf even after trying to take a shower. The worst is when you even go back out after all that for a second (third??) round with more poor hostelites in tow. I'm a bad influence on some of those kids who I'm sure just want to see new places and experience new things. But noooo i had to show them a good time getting hammered in bars and singing bad songs and trying fun games like *drink this stuff*.
I'm gotten quite the hang of the local rail/subway/tram systems and can get myself almost anywhere without the fear of getting lost. Then I get lost somewhere or miss a stop and have a grand old time finding my way back. I'm also staying a few extra days in the city...got a few nights stay free since one day I did some heavy lugging for the hostel owners/operators. Good deal i say! Plus some people did not want me to leave right yet. I make really good cookies too and I share!
Damn this
CN tower and my head
There I go, ruining yet another picture. is getting long. I have to wrap this up soon since I see my minutes ticking away like a countdown to nuclear armageddon. Too many stories to tell anyways and my eyes hurt from looking at the computer screen. Could be the hangover though. Oh and I got a big cut on the bendy part of one of my fingers. Long story. It involves a wheelchair and a rickshaw and far too many stupid people.
So if you see a scruffy hairy beast of a man wearing black something and stubbling around downtown Toronto in the next few days say hello! I won't bite much and I can be easily bribed with shiney trinkets and liquor. Wow i sound like one of the guys who sleeps in the gazebo near Jarvis street...
Take care and have fun folks! *super big hugs* :P
