Our major excursion on Sunday was a trip to the top of the tallest man-made structure in the world - the CN Tower.
Won't bore you with the details but the tallest observation deck is way up there.

Pat & Geoff took the lift to the first level - in a lift with glass walls that ran up the outside of the tower travelling at 22kph - then we waited in line to travel up a further 100 m to the tallest observation point the Sky Pod (marked on the photo)

Great view, but Geoff's balance was skewed and vertigo spoilt the experience somewhat. Pat was keen to step onto a glass floor and look down 350 m but didn't. GMB didn't get anywhere near it.

We polished off our final day doing some window shopping in a huge shopping centre then headed for the airport and our overnight flight to London and on to Glasgow.

I don't recommend Air Canada. Both our flights were less than impressive.

We both had very little sleep and as we write this entry we are relaxing in the Carlton George Hotel in Glasgow, determined not to go to

bed until later tonight.

Our train tickets for the Western Highlands rail trip from Glasgow to Fort William were at the hotel waiting so we're looking forward to that. It's said to be one of the best rail journeys in the world.

This is where we stayed while in Toronto. Nice B&B not far from the CBD - 213 Carlton St (in the Cabbagetown area) shame about both those names
