Our second province sign!We got to Ottawa around 9:00 PM and went directly to Joey’s place, one of Nigel’s friends from Moncton. The first night was very relaxed. We went to this pub close to Joey’s place, had a few beers and headed to his place for a nice sleep. 😊
June 20th
We slept in and had a nice lazy morning for the first time. Unfortunately, Joey had to work during the morning, but he got to meet Wayne Gretzky, so we don’t feel bad for him 😊. When he got back, we headed downtown Ottawa on our bikes, which was very fun. 😊 Joey was a great tour guide, he took us to great spots and we went on a tour of the Parliament building.
It happened to be the chicken and rib festival (which is world wide barbecuing competition) and had the vegetarian nightmare (pulled pork, chicken and ribs). It was amazing. We had a beer with our meal and stayed at the bar for the rest of the night.
