VACATION!!!
The day started with our early morning flight from St. Petersburg to Buffalo, NY.
It is no secret that I don't particularly care for the getting there part of the trip. However, sometimes it's the little things in life that make you smile during an anxious time. A lonely grape, seemingly out of nowhere, rolled to a stop next to my seat as we cruised at over 400 miles an hour at 37,000 feet. I considered picking it up, but left it as a token distraction. She walked by and it was gone, leaving only the juicy remains of grape trail down the aisle. Curious, I cocked my head looking the length of the plane and low and behold, my little friend was attached to the bottom of the flight attendants shoe only to be smashed and dragged all over the plane. In quiet amusement I looked on. Goodbye my squished friend, your purpose served more than you could ever know.
And this was just the beginning. Our tiny rental car, fortunately for us, was previously was occupied by a smoker. Not planning on paying to smell like we were traveling in a cheap hotel for 2 weeks, I advised

The original wings were as good as they look. I understand how they became so popular. the clerk of the problem and they proceeded to upgrade us to a vehicle, that I swear, could probably drive itself. For example, I have barely seen the keys, Alex keeps track of them and I just push a button to get us moving. What a treat.
All this early activity made us hungry. So what do you do in Buffalo, NY? Head for the place it all started. Anchor Bar, Home of the Original Buffalo Wings.
The restaurant itself was quite a site. Decorated to the brim, it is obvious this place has been around awhile. The wings were incredible and sweat poured down our face. After we stuffed our faces and drank plenty of water, we took a self tour of downtown Buffalo, enjoying the historic architecture. Alex shot some great photos which I hope to attach.
We then headed for Cananada, ay. Our hotel is good, and right in the middle of the most touristy town I have ever seen. It makes Gatlinberg look tame. The Falls themselves are quite impressive. We look forward to seeing them from below via boat, rather than above with 1000 tourists, many of which, I found quite intriguing as they

As we watched in this local hangout a fresh local brew in my hand, we were treated to a couple of locals, meeting for the first time enjoying their common love for rapping. Yes, I cant even begin to do what we saw justice by writing about it. Two very Caanadian individuals, one making the somewhat similar to rap beat sounds while the other danced around him, waiving his arms, rapping intensely for several minutes. It was a great sight and Alex was very amused. We have now retired to our room to plot our next move. Until tomorrow...
