A very early start from New York. The coach is full but everyone seems to be getting on okay.
Our guide Miss Penny is very thorough and looks after us well. She is from Texas.
As I write this, it is 10pm and we have just eaten.
Finally arrived at 6,15 and seemed to wait an age to clear customs. It is very busy here. Then waited to get off the coach as there was an amazing thunder storm.
I have been amazed by the countryside we have passed through. Beautiful trees and mile after mile of maize, used to feed cattle.
Tomorrow is the Maid of the mist. I think we are both a little scared of this.

On the journey up to Niagara we passed through some amazing forest and then into some more open landscape. Can't believe the number of Zumack (not sure of the spelling!) growing wild by the side of the road. They must make an amazing sight in the autumn.

Despite the rain Niagara Falls look as amazing as I remember - looking forward to a better look tomorrow
