The Final Destination

Our final destination on the Erie Lakeshore Trek, which unintentionally put us here on Easter weekend. Plenty of Hacidic Jews, Indians, and other non-believers sharing the experience. A perfect couple of days plus the benefits of being HHonors Silver at the time, which justified benefits not typically found at American properties. A little cool but we had wonderful weather . . .

The Fallsview Hilton

The pictures are much more impressive than the view let's on to, though we did have a great view. The suite had a great jacuzzi pass-through bathroom that gave views even while sitting in the bathroom. Despite it being a holiday weekend, this place was hopping with the indoor pool mobbed by kids, makes you wonder how the place is on a busy season. Also, when you consider this is a major honeymoon destination, not much is left for romance, but I suppose that is what the jacuzzi tub is for. The hotel was very well run and I would recommend it as a place to say though there is a casino hotel located in front of ours that offers even better views but is much more expensive and is not a

Trip Recommendations

- DO go to the Outlets, we went to the Burberry store and because of a clerk error, Jennifer got herself a free Burberry coat . . . worth $300! They had great customer service there, admittedly they did screw up pretty badly on a basic thing. Oh yeah, their anti-theft devices don't make the alarm go off - we found out the hard way!
- DO go on the Maid of the Mist, we did not go on it but it looked like a lot of fun.
- DO spend time strolling around, the town is a bit touristy but fun with some great new shops, especially in the newer hotels.
- DO go to the Cafe Tu Tu Tango for dinner, OMG what is this place doing here?!? Doesn't even show on the Cafe Tu Tu Tango website, this place must've been licensed or is a Canadian knock-off. The service was miserable, even called Brad Weiser's office about it, though they didn't seem to care much about it. But the food was definitely the real deal and we snatched up a

fancy painting for crazy $400. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
- DON'T go to any of the tacky tourist places, so you really don't need more than two days MAX here. In fact, come see the falls, do a couple things here and there and you are good to go!

Our hotel was across the street from the Casino, but we spent only enough time to donate $20, take a photo, and get Jennifer a cat necklace.

The ride back was not much fun. We did a straight shot back to Columbus and Samantha picked up some scrap metal with her passenger side rear tire which put us out of commission on the NY turnpike.
