Got up and explored Brockville. Charming town.

Lovely waterways.

Another lovely sun shiny day. Stopped off along the way to take in the view of the 1000 islands as we drove by as it was beautiful, especially with the sun shining off the waters. Stopped in Ivy Lea for a good look.

Promised Marg & Derek we'd be there by lunchtime, but after numerous stops we'll be lucky to make it by 1pm.

We make it, and they are lovely, its so great to meet them. And we indulged in a drink or two. lovely home cooked meals and some washing, I'm so pleased they let us stay with them. Also met Diane and Tim which was really wonderful and its funny how family always feels like family. We may be lucky and catch up with Colin and Julie in Buffalo.

We talked for hours and told many stories. Late night!

St Lawrence River and the islands are so large but yet so close, but way too hard to do justice on a camera.
