Another wonderful breakfast at the Inn. Belle island is known for their abundance of iron ore mines, which have been shut down for years, we toured one of them. A 45 min guided tour underground was so fascinating-known as the safest mine in N Am. People from all over the world came to work in the mines starting in 1902. Also, Germany bought a lot of it during WWII. Picked up our picnic lunch at the Inn, headed to the lighthouse area over looking the Bay/ ocean. Beautiful! Finally saw a whale’s tail. After lunch, went to th theatre in the mine. Locals performed in one of the mines.Another amazing dinner,3course as always. Great time with new friends, wine, beer and local musicians came to the Inn for a jam session. Such a charming time!
