Day 9-Bell Island

---

Started out with homemade scones and a hearty breakfast at the Inn. Beautiful day for hiking and discovering Bell Island. Lovely pasture overlooking Conception Bay followed by another hearty lunch and dessert. The chef at the Inn has impressed us at every meal. Jerome our minibus driver drove us to the working lighthouse and at this time we received certificates which we were initialized as Newfoundlanders with their customary shot of Screech rum etc. We then headed to the town center where the residents had a street party, of course Jerome, the bus driver was playing in the band. Dinner impressive, again, enjoyed sitting outside with the group after dinner.
