Started early today to checkout as many sights as possible. Breakfast at Rocket Bakery & Fresh Foods-wonderful fresh food and great coffee. Newman’s Wine Vault-used to age Port wine dating back to 1679. James o’Mara Pharmacy museum-amazing collection of medicines and pharmacy operations circa 1885. NL Railway Coastal Museum( now defunct). Lunch catered at the Cultural center with a flair for authentic local foods. Walked around Cape Spear overlooking the Atlantic. After a boat tour off the harbor onto the Atlantic, we headed for dinner at a well-knowed fish n chips restaurant. Wow, after 8 hrs, about 5 miles of walking, we’re in for the evening.

Looks like a wonderful trip! How awesome to actually be at the first place the sun shines in N America!! The quaint little towns and going back in time gives a lot to reflect upon. I'm glad you're enjoying the trip so much. And all the local foods must be a treat to the palate. But Nanci, you know me....I wouldn't be as adventurous as you. I'm such a plain boring eater. Continue to enjoy the time away from the real world and enjoy every moment of it all!!
