JAG Hotel
Some of the fabulous pictures of musicians - listening to their music as we ate Last day on our own before we meet up with the tour group tonight. Nice breakfast at the JAG Hotel before venturing out in the off and on drizzle all day, but that didn’t stop us for walking in it. In fact, a local said to us on the street ‘you must be from away’ and pointed to our umbrellas. That was good for a laugh! We visited the cultural facility, The Rooms museum, an extensive collection of artifacts of the Province. Also learned about the rich and diverse cultures that formed Newfoundland & Labrador as it is today. Lunch on St John’s harbor at Jack Astor’s and with plenty of downtime before our activities tonight. Tonight we’re headed to Yellowbelly Brewery-yep,another Irish Pub- with the group. (We did learn that the Irish ancestors are a big part of today's culture).
