Whether you're a tourist or resident, a little trip to the harbour at Steveston is a very appealing outing, especially on a bright, sunny day !
There are several great restaurants, many with outdoor patios and abundant umbrellas. Fishing boats below the boardwalk sell their fresh catch-of-the-day and entertainment is often provided. We stopped to watch a show by an Irish dance school, which was terrific. All in all, a nice way to have a mini vacation, enjoying the sun on your face and a sea breeze !
