Today we are dry camping (no water, no electric, no sewer & no WiFi) in a Provincal Park. We had an eventful trip from Williams Lake to here. Joe had commented several times this morning he wanted to see some wildlife. Well, wildlife he got. Shortly after we stopped for lunch we were traveling right along when a black bear came charging across the highway about 20 feet in front of our truck. Thank goodness we were only going 55 mph, that Joe saw him coming across the road and the truck has really good brakes because if any of these factors were different we would have had a pretty large bear on our hood. Then, about an hour down the road there was a medium size moose just standing along the road, we slowed down to make sure he was going to stay there and thank goodness he decided to go back into the woods. Both were magnificent sites, but a little scary. Tonight we decided it was time for an old fashion camp fire and BBQ so despite the mesqitoes we had a lovely dinner. Shortly after dinner another camper came by and warned us there was a mother bear and two small cubs wondering around the camp so to be careful going down the trail to the bathroom. That's when I decided I would use my own toilet and stay right around the RV. Needless to say Joe got to see some wildlife.
