The Mounties
Good of them to turn out for us We made it to Vancouver. 4 fascinating days on the train - after the lotta lotta trees came the Prairies with a stop at Edmonton where we met the train driver who we called Hank, then the fabulous Rockies. Quick stop at Jasper which reminded us of Aviemore where we waived goodbye to Hank. We all love Vancouver with its vibrancy, fabulous waterfront, Gastown, Stanley Park and so much more including meeting the mounties. Yet again we have had a brilliant tour guide (Toronto it was Brad and Maggie; Vancouver it was Liz - all members of the Macmillan family). We have learnt such a lot about Canada so big thanks to all. On our own tomorrow so heaven knows how that will go!

Loving Vancouver
Great to hear from you all. Glad all going well. Sounds as though your trip is living up to all your expectations. Nothing but grey skies and rain here. Even given up on golf as course so wet! Just back from a little bit of travelling ourselves. Spent a fab few days in Budapest. Lovely city, people and sun! Continue to have a blast and look forward to rest of your blogs! Xh
