Creepy Crawler
The deadly spider entangles it's victim in a web of despair! (Trevor made me write that, lol)After the move from HELL (crazy landlord, cleaning like madmen, still moving boxes at 2am, and staying up for 29 hours straight), we took off to BC to spend some time with Trevor's family and to see some good friends. We needed some time to relax before the big T-R-I-P. Ha Ha ... but seriously. Not only are we leaving everything we know for a year, but phewf, we're tired from these past few weeks! We spent just over a week in the Vancouver and Victoria area (and Victoria just might be the cutest little city in the world!). Some interesting facts: did you know that if you're homeless and have a dog you will get a better welfare cheque? Interesting information. We also learned the the BC ferry people like to take advantage of innocent travellers just on their way to get some turkey. Ticket prices were exhorbitant!
We're actually doing this entry to see if our little camera adapter memory card reader thing works and to try to figure out how to put pictures in the blog. It is official that we are homeless and have been sponging off family for 16 days now and LEAVE TOMMORROW.... YOWZERS!!!
Thetis Island
For the time being ... still the most beautiful place in the world!! For our last day in Canada we're thinking maybe we'll wear our touques, eat some maple syrup and watch a hockey game.
