Fifteen reasons why its good to travel with your mum

I love travelling with my mum because she will.....

1. Fly across a raging river and through a canyon on a flying fox

2. Make my hostel bed and sleep on the top bunk

3. Cook me dinner and make me breakfast

4. Tell dirty jokes to all the people on our tour

5. Party with the best of us at karaoke until 1am

6. Throw herself headfirst down a waterslide and take her first ever jump off a diving board.....when she can't really even swim!

7. Put her foot in her mouth by saying inappropriate things like how hairy the man over there is, when the man she has been talking to in the pool is even hairier!

8. Walk on a glacier in the Canadian icefields

9. Drive a go kart at full speed around the track

10. Use drop toilets for the first time and survive a night without running water in a wilderness lodge

11. Overcome her fear of heights by climbing to the top of the mountain in Banff...almsot 8000ft

12. Rode on the Banff gondola without peeing her pants

13. Didn't get scared when we came close to a black bear

14. Say funny things like...'that smells like someone is burning the grass'...when someone is smoking pot!




And the ultimate.....

15. Jump out of a perfectly good aeroplane at 9500ft

Geez
You won't believe this but Lake Louise and the whole of Canada was on Get-a-way last night. Voted best country to visit. How great, Maude travelling, sounds like you guys had a great time.
