Logan's lake to Whistler

One more day to go and a 6 hour journey through deserts and over mountains, some of the most striking scenery we have seen. We woke with frost on the van but were up to 26 degrees by 11 when we stopped for coffee at a one horse logging town, Ashcroft. We had lunch parked in a lay-by surrounded by desert mountains, the weather turned cool and damp when we went through our second range of mountains and we saw a real log jam!
