Mark learning to drive on the 'wrong' side of the road!!
Hey everyone,

Attached are a few photos of our quick trip up to Whistler this thanksgiving long weekend!

We hired a car and headed off early Saturday morning stopping of at Horseshoe Bay, Squamish, and a few other interesting places along the way.

It was a beautiful drive on a very misty, cold, drizzly morning. The road hugs the coast for much of the drive untill you head into the mountains - so the views are amazing.

We mastered the skill of driving on the 'wrong' side of the road!! not easy after years of driving on the left!!!

Whistler was absolutely beautiful and our photos don't do it justice, a beautiful village with lots of places to eat, shop and drink. Only snow at this time of year was up the top of the mountain but still v cold in the whistler village!

Off to a thanksgiving 'lamb' dinner tomorrow night with some friends (they are kiwis so lamb rather than turkey is on the menu)

Later
Mel & Mark

We were a bit confused to see this sign at Whistler Blackcomb!!! besides it was about 5 degrees!!! The beach turned out to be a tiny strip of sand by a small lake.
