Funny you should comment wistfully about cities where you can work & live downtown & yet chose to live 1 hour (without traffic) away from your downtown jobs. I love living in downtown TO. 15 min to work by TTC or 45 min slow walk
home through Chinatown, Queen St W or Harbourfront. And no lawns to mow or driveway to shovel. Also, turnkey security when you are away for weeks or months.
