After a year and a half of planning, We are less than 12 hours away from leaving now. After a few tense moments today, we have now been able to check in and confirm out flights are going out tomorrow on schedule. We will keep our fingers crossed that this winter storm does not impact our scheduled flights.

We are soooo excited. . . We armed with Signs, Flags, cow bells and a lot of Red White and Blue hats, scarfs, mittens etc. Our biggest challenge has been how to pack. Vancouver is warm 50 degres and rainy but Whistler which is where the alpine events are is about 2 hours farther north and has temperatures in the 20's, has tons of snow and is very windy. We will be travelling backand forth between venues on different days. Susie and Janice leave Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. and fly through Las Vegas, Mary and Mickie are leaving at 3:00p.m. and are going through Houston. If all goes as planned we will rendevous in Vancouver about Midnight.

We hope to post pictures daily so stay tuned and share our adventure with us.
