Brawling on Ice (or Hockey)

We drove to Vancouver with Radan who flew home. Then we met up with Rhonda and Peter and the boys again there. We also met with Ron Weiss who we both knew at university and his partner Kate and their boys. They took us to a hockey match of the Vancouver Giants. Its a very skillful game in between fights. There were at least 4 and the refs just let them rip into each other till they had had enough. Wouldn't last 2 minutes in soccer, they'd be banned for life. And the crowd cheering them on. Now I know what they mean by a Hockey Mom. Anyway it was great to go. A true insight into the Canadian soul. Scary Huh?
