Hey all
Flying out today from Qualicum at 1pm and then out of Vancouver at 4pm. We arrive in Frankfurt at 11am their time and fly out to Istanbul at 130 and arrive at 4pm. Will be a long day but hopefully will get some sleep. There are 3 of us on the team flying from Vancouver and the other 2 will be meeting in Istanbul. Shuttles are all set and we are staying at the http://www.sakaryagrandhotel.com/eng/iletisim.php. This is 20kms from the flying field and we get driven there everyday. It sounds like we have a practice day then a tournament the Sporapi Cup for 3days. then the World Cup is after that. I hope I don't trip!! We will have a couple days at the end where we will be touring around Istanbul, but plans can change. I will try to keep the blog up to date, it will depend on the Internet connection. We do however have Hotwater in our room for 24hrs a day according to the hotels webpage. Should be interesting. Weather sounds like it will be hot 30+ so will need to keep the fluids flowing.
