Friday, October 10th - Drove to Two Medicine, too icy to hike, then to St. Mary Visitor Center where we decided to go on to Canada and Waterton Lakes Park. Hiked/walked the Prince of Wales trail and around the lake. Motel - The Crandell Mountain Lodge

Anne and I started our hiking trips back in 2001 and have managed to get two or three trips in each year since. Most of the trips were part of our quest to hike in all of the US National Parks, a quest we completed in 2015 with our trip to Alaska and the Gates of the Arctic and Kobuk Valley parks. At that time there were 59 parks. Since 2015 we have revisited some of our favorite areas and those have been blogged as well. The Prince of Wales Hotel

Very impressive hotel on a point of land overlooking Waterton Lake. Hiked around this hotel.

Two Medicine Lake

Two Medicine was too snowed in and too icy. We had planned to hike here but weather did not cooperate.

The Waterton Lakes sign

Waterton Lake.

Hiked/walked around this lake. The village of Waterton Lakes is on the shore of this lake. The village is totally inside the park.
