Ok, so the weather caught up with us..... We woke up to rain and freezing cold. So much for a day of climbing! Oh, well, we decided to take a day trip to Calgary, get some groceries and run some errands. We stopped for lunch at a bar/concert venue that turned out to have fantastic sandwiches. Calgary also apparently shuts down on Sundays, so after lunch we went back "home".

As we were rained out of our original climbing plan, we came up with plan B. If the weather sucks tomorrow, we are moving on to Jasper for a pit stop at the Columbia Icefields and the hotsprings. If it's sunny, we're sticking around for some climbing for one more day in Lake Louise. From Jasper we are heading straight for Kamloops, stopping for sleep and then heading down to Vancouver. We 're hoping to be able to climb a bit in Squamish area and actually picked up a guide book today.

That's it for now, keep you fingers crossed that we won't get more rain..... or snow for that matter...

With frozen fingers,

Charles & Cissi
