Mystic Springs

Left the Marriott at Gatwick (good hotel) to check in with Thomas Cook for our 10.30 am flight to Calgary. We managed to get to the front of the queue just before the baggage belt failed. The check in desk assistant was not very sympathetic and actually nodded off at one point !

We were left to load our own bags in a baggage cage nearby, no problem, at least we weren't at the end of what was by now a very long queue. I loaded the bags one by one and placed them next to each other. We were a little worried by the chaos but i suppose this was to be expected, in - fact the flight was only delayed by 90min, no thanks to our check in clerk i'm sure.

We arrived in Calgary after a fairly un-eventful flight only to find that one of our bags didn't make it ! We filled in the necessary forms and set off for our destination, Canmore. An hour and a half later we checked in at Mystic Springs and then as soon as we were ready we went out to the shops for some supplies, milk, cereal, tea, etc.
